In 2026, the gardens are open every day from Saturday 28th March with the last day of the season being Saturday 27th September. Opening times are 10.30am - 5pm with the last entry at 4pm.
The Orangery Cafe is a special treat reserved for our garden visitors. To enjoy the cafe, you'll just need to purchase a day ticket or hold a current Hampton Gardens membership.
No, you don't have to book online in advance but you can save 10% if you do! Visitors can also pay by card on arrival at the Visitor Centre, please note we are a cashless site.
Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed onsite. We kindly ask that you keep your dog on lead as you explore all areas.

The formal gardens are 80% wheelchair accessible via either flagstone, gravel or wood chipped paths. Please note, access to the river walks involves steps and uneven grass surfaces, which may not be suitable for all wheelchairs.
We don’t allow any drone footage to be taken of the estate or drones to be operated while on the estate.

Yes, we can offer both of these options. Please speak to the cafe staff about any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have.
We have dedicated picnic benches on the South Lawns for your use. We simply ask that you don't eat your own food inside the Orangery Café or in the designated outdoor café seating areas, as these are reserved for café customers.
